The Old Stables Cottage sleeps five in two bedrooms. The accommodation is all on one level, so its ideal for those who find difficulty with stairs.
The accommodation comprises of an entrance hall with coat rack, and work surface with fridge and freezer underneath, the second bedroom which has bunk beds and a single bed, the shower room, the open plan lounge / kitchen / dining area with wood burning stove and the double bedroom.
There is a colour TV, DVD and video in the lounge and a further TV and video in the second bedroom. There is also a radio cassette in the double bedroom. The cottage has a very comprehensive video and DVD library, and also a supply of music CDs, so even if the weather is not too pleasant (this is, after all, Wales!) visitors can light the woodburner and chill out in front of the TV (or TVs).
The cottage has LPG central heating.
There is an electric cooker in the kitchen, together with a toaster, microwave and kettle and the cupboards are well stocked with everything needed to cater for more than five people.
Both bedrooms have sea views, in the double room this across the fields and towards Caldey Island and in the second bedroom this is across the farm yard and towards the Gower.
Cars can be parked directly in front of the cottage.
Although the cottage does not have its own garden, there is a walled garden adjacent to the cottage for visitors to use. This is a wonderful place to sit and chill out on a sunny evening to watch the glorious sunsets over the hills.
